For the first time, he sublimated a magnificent Gothic statue into a painting. He created a mural painting of the Basilica of Santa Maria de la Carita (commonly known as the Scrovegni Chapel) in Padua, northern Italy, in 1305. The series of frescoes depict the life of Joachim, the Virgin Mary, and Jesus Christ, and are said to be some of the greatest Gothic paintings. In this research, five distinctive works were selected from these mural paintings, and the formation and development of Giotto art, or the reason why he is said to have changed the history of art, was analyzed, and Giotto is considered as one of the people involved in modeling.}, pages = {1--28}, title = {ゴシック末期の画家ジョットにおける創造性と革新性}, volume = {78}, year = {2022} }
