| 内容記述 | In light of the current situation in which teaching content and methods are changing significantly in the field of education with the implementation of the new Course of Study, I have to explored the direction of science education in the future by tracing the transition of science education in Japan over several series. This time, I investigated a summary of science education from the Meiji era to the prewar and wartime period, and the "Observation of Nature" published in 1941 for science teachers in the lower grades of national schools. As a result, it was found that there are many common ideas in current science education and the new Course of Study, and that this scientific spirit has been continuously passed down as "the immutability of science education." In particular, in the "Observation of Nature" compiled under the Ministry of Education for science teachers in the lower grades of national schools in 1941, we can see the " immutability of science education" as a Japanese way of nature education, and it can be said that the content has remained fresh even in this era. | |||||||
